Romney isn’t even running, and he’s ahead of Hillary, who’s running as fast as she can run. Imagine if he were running, and getting even half the tongue bath that Hillary Clinton gets from the mainstream media.
Romney tops Republican poll for 2016; ahead of Clinton in election
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Mitt Romney, the Republican Party’s unsuccessful presidential nominee in 2012, leads the field for the 2016 election among Republican voters, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday.
The former Massachusetts governor would have a slight edge over potential Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton by 45 percent to 44 percent in a general election, the poll found. …
We’re just surprised he isn’t ahead by far more.
Left-wingers and their media outrage, when facts don’t go their way, is instructive. We can all learn from liberals and their reaction to the truth being revealed. Of course they – meaning the left-wing mouthpieces and race-baiters and so on – and their media division – aren’t interested in the truth – they’re only interested in their agenda.
Here’s how Salon.com feels about it. It’s really great stuff if you’re into the worst possible journalism and idiocy on the face of the earth. And by the way, the prosecutor they pictured here – he’s a Democrat. And the President of the United States: black.

Ben SHapiro is on fire today as he parses Emperor Obama’s immigration
On Thursday night, President Obama delivered his address to the nation on his executive amnesty. It was historic, both in its scope and in its dishonesty: the speech represented a closely-woven and incredible tapestry of falsehood, exposited with a straight face by the greatest liar in modern American history. …
And that’s just the beginning.
After constantly toeing to the Obama administration (and MSNBC, etc) talking points line, and refusing to acknowledge that the Benghazi attack was actually an al Qaeda terrorist attack, today, years later, they finally acknowledge it.
Militants in Benghazi Attack Tied to a Qaeda Affiliate
Like the Obama immigration dictate announced just last night, the NYT conveniently waited until after the election to admit this fact.
Get a load of this headline in the Washington Post, the day after Barack Obama creates a constitutional crisis and totally flip-flops on his own words:
…and the whole article is about Republicans who are outraged over Obama, rather than about Obama creating a constitutional crisis and instigating the most cynical possible political manoevers.
We’ve long said that unless you watch Fox News Channel, you’re not seeing a whole lot of the important news. Here we go again.
NBC Ignores Gruber for 11th Day as ABC’s WNT Breaks Silence
And this is a huge story. Even CNN viewers know more than many, since Jake Tapper broke their silence on the matter some time ago and went all racist on Obama (not really, but if we understand correctly, anybody who criticizes Barack Obama is a racist, according to The Left).
…Instead of giving mention to Gruber on this occasion, NBC Nightly News devoted 32 seconds to the results of a study that found fewer Americans will have the need for a two-car garage in their homes as more Americans are expected to use public transit and other forms of transportation in the future and take the percentage of homes with more than two cars down to 43 percent by 2040. …
Ann Coulter, having been given the gift of another deceitful liberal hypocrite and strident ass, goes to work, with her usual gusto.
DOWNING STREET GRUBER
Isn’t Jonathan Gruber worse than the Downing Street memo?
Gruber, who was paid half a million dollars to design Obamacare, is on tape bragging about how the Democrats relied on “the stupidity of the American voter” to pass that law. Which, ironically, was sort of a stupid thing to say on camera.
By now there are so many tapes of Gruber explaining how Obamacare fooled stupid Americans that they’re being released as a boxed set in time for Christmas.
Gruber, who will hereafter be known as “the architect of Obamacare,” said:
“If you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in — if you made it explicit that healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed. … Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass.” … [read on]
The hypocrisy from the Left knows no bounds. As one of many available examples today, we have the race-baiting industry chieftain and humongous gas bag Al Sharpton.
Yes, the proponent of left-wing politics on MSNBC, and of big tax, and raising taxes further, and big government and big government spending, the “Reverend” Al Sharpton allegedly owes millions in unpaid business taxes including payroll taxes which, if we’re not mistaken, are taxes deducted from Sharpton’s lowly “working people” staff, but not remitted to government.
Of course when you accuse him of this, you are obviously henceforth a racist, if you weren’t already one before because you criticize Obama.
We know raising kids is hard. And if parents just give up, that’s totes cool.
Sorry. What we meant to say was, these parents are horrible parents.
Obama donor and Scientologist Will Smith has raised two completely bizarre children, according to a recent interview Jaden and Willow did with T magazine.
… The Smiths probably shouldn’t be Obama’s go to couple for advice on education reform. Jaden and Willow don’t believe in school. Jaden reminded readers that people take driver’s ed classes, yet still get in accidents.
“You never learn anything in school,” explained Jaden. “Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out.”
The two teenagers are on the same page when it comes to schools.
“I went to school for one year,” Willow said.
… The two teenagers also claim that the “concept of time” doesn’t exist in the interview, with Willow stating that she actually has the ability to control time. …
Read the whole article. The liberals’ New York Times also picks it up, and seems to have a crush on them. And then there are the NYT commenters, many of whom seem to think these children of liberals are just perfect specimens, and a grand example for all of us to follow.
God help us.
Canadian TV network CTV rates Obama’s Keystone comments “a lot of baloney” (like the Washington Post’s 3 Pinocchios). This, despite the fact that Obama’s remarks are utter baloney.
Is Obama telling the truth about Canadian oil exports?
Apparent;y CTV has no clue about how to judge political comments. Using the far more accurate NewsQuips BS-o-Meter, one can easily see that Obama’s remarks are “Total BS.” Again, that’s “Total BS.”
Yesterday we mused (barfed?) at the arrogance and elitism of liberals, as Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber was caught on tape – three times – proudly suggesting that Obamacare passed because Americans are stupid.
Therefore, today, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, in answer to a question about the Gruber gaffe-fest (that she got a question about him is shocking in and of itself), stumbled badly through an obvious lie, saying she didn’t even know who that guy was, and that he had no part in writing the Obamacare law.
Watch Pelosi fumble and stumble
Irony: By lying like that, Pelosi proves she’s exactly like Gruber: she lies, yet thinks you’re so stupid, you’ll believe any lie, and as a bonus, she thinks that’s all perfectly fine because… Obamacare.
Indecency: Gruber was reportedly paid about $400,000 to help advise about Obamacare. And Pelosi hadn’t heard of him? Wow. Your tax dollars mean utterly nothing to Pelosi.
Idiocy: Even though she says doesn’t know who in tarnation that cat is, she actually does, of course. She once proudly touted – on her own web site – his sage Obamacare analysis, in her effort to sell Obamacare to the “stupid Americans.” Here’s the link, but below are screen-captures of the page, because it will almost definitely be scrubbed clean or her web site will mysteriously crash, after Pelosi gets nailed for lying yet again. (Also see this video)
Can Barack Obama reduce America any further than he already has? Why yes! Yes he can!
…Obama emerged from his car chewing gum …
Chompin’ on a hunk of gum. Beauty.
Fox News Channel, which is about the only news organization covering this story*, natch, opens a story about it this way, today:
ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber apparently doesn’t think much of the intelligence of the American people.
The Obama advisor on Obamacare literally got caught explaining that Obama sold Obamacare to the American people on lies, which they thought they could get away with because the American people are stupid.
This is quintessentially liberal. Liberals always think they – and their government – know better than the little people. Here, we see where they actually acted on their beliefs that American people are stupid. They were so sure, that they passed one of the biggest and most expansive – and possibly most expensive – bills of the modern era, on the theory that the people are so stupid, they could get away with it.
This story is a pretty big deal, not just because it’s such an enormous gaffe and a betrayal of their core (and very insulting, elitist, and bigoted) beliefs. It’s the irony as well. Here we have an Obama administration aid that is so completely out-of-touch with America, perched as he is on his high liberal academic pedestal; and is so utterly tone-deaf and politically dumb, that to sufficiently explain such idiocy, we would have to believe he were brain dead. Do you see the irony here? We think you do. You’re not dumb.
Irony #2: regular Americans didn’t really ever buy the lies. The never accepted Obamacare. They still don’t. Even today, the clear majority of Americans are opposed to Obamacare.
*Addendum: Oh OK, CNN’s Jake Tapper tweets this, this morning:
In his latest foray into the world of things about which he knows nothing, President Obama has decided the number of troops he originally sent to Iraq and Syria (which he had told us was the perfect number to fight jayvee teams of “misunderstood” and “excluded” “workplace violence” perpetrators), was wrong by half. This is after having first withdrawn all the troops that were already there, because he was totes sure none of them were needed there at all, any longer. So he will now double the number of troops. Strategy. Science.
Obama is also about to name a replacement for outgoing attorney general Eric Holder, amidst his myriad scandals (Holder’s, and Obama’s). And the Washington Post reports that “U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch was the least controversial of the final choices before the president,” and so she will get the nod. But here’s the thing, as reported in a separate paragraph in the WaPo story:
Lynch enjoys the strong support of Democrats and progressive activists.
Well then. At least this pick is not at all about far-left politics, first and foremost.
This story is from Canada and our NewsQuips.ca sister, but it applies equally well in America:
Given what you hear in the liberal media every day, all day, and what liberal Hollywood foists upon us, every day, all day, you’d think the regular person on the street would all be on board the diversity-luvin’ train, right? Yeah, no.
Asked this question last week for the local paper, “Does Delta need more diversity on council?”, four out of five man-on-the-street people said “meh.” Here’s their actual responses:
- I don’t think diversity should be a prerequisite.
- I think we’re well represented. I guess if there was an interest they would run. If there was interest from other (cultural heritages) … they would put themselves out there. We have running who we have running.
- As long as the traditional Canadian customs and cultures that have been set in stone for the last 200 years are not radically changed, then diversity is always welcome.
- If you want to run, you run.
And one hold-out said:
I guess so. We need diversity to become one.
We still don’t know what that last one even means. Possibly she’s harkening back to America’s old motto (before it became “In God We Trust”), E Pluribus Unum, meaning “From Many, One,” and not understanding it, but thinking it sounds good and PC, and will yield a nice pat on the head or a cookie.
Voters largely aborted at least a couple of left-wing memes last night.
The left-wing free birth control and entitlement maven Sandra Fluke lost her bid to be a California state senator. That’s good, manifestly because she’s an idiot, but also because she was the iconic leftist progressive feminist candidate – the moocher in chief.
But Texas candidate for governor Wendy Davis, who, though she denies it, basically ran on a left-wing feminist platform hinging on late term abortions-for-all, also lost big. She was another icon of left-wing feminism.
Another pro free birth control and abortions-for-all candidate, Colorado senator Mark Udall, also lost.
And that’s just a sampling of the magnitude of the collapse. Several Republican women won in various races. Taken together, it means the idiotic “Republicans are waging a war on Women” meme, perpetrated by the malicious left, including their media division, was betrayed as the deceptive gimmick we already knew it was.
While the “war on women” war was being lost, on another front, the “Republicans are racists” war was also being lost. For the first time, a black man has been elected to the senate in the south. Tim Scott won handily. So much for that “racist” meme and particularly the “racist Republican south” meme, as if it weren’t already demonstrably bogus.
Ted Cruz doesn’t appear ready to relax after mid-terms are over. In fact he seems to be just getting geared up. The question is, geared up for what, exactly? Leadership, in a nutshell.
Cruz aims to take on Obama if GOP wins Senate; won’t vow support for McConnell
… Piggybacking on what House leaders have done, Cruz said the first order of business should be a series of hearings on President Obama, “looking at the abuse of power, the executive abuse, the regulatory abuse, the lawlessness that sadly has pervaded this administration.”
…And when asked whether he would back Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky for Republican leader, Cruz would not pledge his support — an indication that there are limits to how much of a partner he’s willing to be.
At the heart of Cruz’s shift from the insular approach that defined his first year in office is a belief that he can use his popularity with conservatives to expand his influence in the Senate and improve his standing as he considers a 2016 presidential campaign. …
Got hit with another Democratic Party (MoveOn.org division) campaign email from… well Joan Jett, obviously! Yes Joan Jett, age 56, a former one or two-hit punk rocker who made somewhat of a splash (very small droplets) back in the medieval days of the early 80s.
Her email today explains how the Democrats must win because, well because the “Republicans and right-wing forces that hold women down, keep us subservient.”
Except her, of course.
Oh and also, regarding the Republicans: “Holy smokes. They’re medieval.”
